In a comprehensive effort to further empower young women and girls, PIN will expand its Support Program for Vulnerable Women with a Drop-In and Healing Center for street children and girls at risk, an Empowerment Center that offers vocational and leadership training programs, and a Spiritual Renewal Center.
The Catholic Good Shepherd Sisters run a nursery school, originally founded by PIN in 2006, in downtown Yangon.
In 2009, PIN built two facilities for HIV Patients at the Buddhist Ye Lai Monastery in Yangon. Patients come to Ye Lai to seek medical treatment and antiretroviral medications in Yangon.
PIN operates and finances a vocational training program for girls and young women from Burmese villages.
